How are you prepping your older children?

Question

I am expecting #3 and have 2 little ones, boy-4 & girl-6. When I had my son, my daughter was still little, so we didn't prep her too much. I want to make sure they are as ready as we can make them. Any tips, ideas, books that could help?

I just keep telling my little boy (3 but will be 4 when the baby's born) that it's HIS little brother or sister. I also plan on having it be just me and my DH for the first hour afterward and then bring him into the room so he can hold the baby and stuff. He's extremely excited about being a big brother. He tells me he'll share his toys with the baby but not mommy or daddy lol He tells me every morning he want the baby to come out of my belly now and checks on the baby every morning and night. :) I just keep him really involved with everything, even the doctors visits (as long as he wont see anything!)

Hospitals usually have a sibiling class. I took my kids when the 4th arrived.
