Is it ok for your husband to have a female bestfriend

My husband has a female best friend and they been friends for ten years. They always contact with another everyday. He always makes comments stating I love my bf like a sister and every other weekend they go out. For example they will go to Fat Tuesdays together or out to eat. Feeling really confused😡
