Can't invite my female partner? Really?

I tried to invite my wife today (since she is my partner & I'm pregnant with her baby). When I entered her name and email, I got a pop-up saying I can't add a mom as a partner. Wth? Can someone fix this hurtful and offensive message please? I figured that since there's a same-sex group, Glow didn't discriminate against gays. Guess I was wrong. :(

Hi Christina. We're working on fixing that error message. **You can definitely have two female partners** even though that error message may suggest otherwise. The error you encountered from the fact that one account needs to be designated as the soon-to-be baby carrying mom, while the other female partner is designated has her partner. We call them primary and secondary accounts. Based on the way you set up your accounts, you were attempting to connect two primary accounts, which isn't possible. This is why it's important to go through the invited partner flow. Please do contact us at support@glowing.com so we can help you connect your accounts.

I don't think Glow discriminates against gays, but I know not being able to add your partner is a problem. I would email Glow about it to see if there's any options. I know other people have had the same problem with the birth control method options, as they didn't add any options for people in same sex relationships.

That is something they for sure need to fix. And I am sorry they have that message. I am hoping they do not discriminate and probably just did not think that through. I will join in sending them a message in asking them to fix that. Congratulations to you both by the way!

I have noticed that Glow is very heteronormative, which is surprising to me. I also hope that they fix this problem to be more inclusive of all people trying to conceive. It makes the app less useful for me as a married lesbian.

In the Glow Together post they mentioned that it could be a same set partner you linked to for the contest. There must be a way to do it. I'd definitely contact support and ask them about it.

I added my wife, but she can't see the forum or the Lesbian TTC thread. I would pay for this app if it were fully functional to us as a lesbian couple, but it's not unfortunately.
