TTC with lack of Floic acid

I am 27 years old, have only been pregnant once but miscarried, I have since then become a pee on the stick addict with both pregnancy and ovulation tests. I just was seen by the OBGYN saying I just need folic acid and I will conceive. Hope they are right. I think I am ovulating on the right times but my period is never the same. Anyone else experiencing the same or have any advice? Would greatly appreciate it seeing as I'm out of money for sticks and all my sticks until next month! Ty! 😁
