Membrane sweep work for anyone?

I just had mine stripped at my 38+2 appointment. I lost my mucous plug last week and am sittin pretty at 2 cm dilated. Anyone have this put them into labor? I'm desperate!

With my so. It made me lose my mucous plug but she still had to induce me 4 days later and use the vacuum to get him out bc his head was so big. 😕
