blue dye pregnancy test

i took a clearblue plus pregnancy test today (9DPO) and it was negative. I did not use FMU. Could I still be pregnant? i feel like i may have tested a little early and I havent heard the best of reviews on blue dye tests. comment your experiences with these please!!
