Why do people say wait a few cycles before you conceive again?

Wss. But also for me was to have enough time to grieve.

Well, for one, you need to give your body a rest to heal after losing the baby. Waiting a few months also helps your hormones balance out. I've heard of many women that have tried again immediately after a MC and had successful pregnancies.  I didn't. It's been 17 months since mine and we're just now trying for a baby again. All women are different though, so go with your gut.

When the body it's ready... It's ready. The human body is amazing that way. It often times knows better then doctors or ourselves. I think it's more for your head and heart... It took me a few months to be ready emotionally. Fingers crossed for you ✨

My doctor said to wait 1 full cycle to allow my lining to build back up.

For me I needed misoprostol to help complete the miscarriage, which you should have totally out of your system before trying again.

I also feel like one cycle will make sure there's nothing left in there!

I can't wait to start trying again though!
