Pedicures at 8 weeks?

I had IVF and haven't had a pedi since transfer back in March. I live in Florida and am in desperate need of a pedicure...do you think it's safe? I go to a very nice and clean/well ventilated place.

I did IVF and am waiting until my first US (Tuesday!) to ask my RE. I am desperate for one too. I have read that as long as the salon is well vented it is ok but after all we have been through, I want our REs blessing.

I only use Zoya nail polish when pregnant because it's free of all the dangerous chemicals.  I also do Jamberry manis/pedis at home since they are fume-free.

I live in LA, so in the same boat :-) My OB said it was fine, but I did some extra research and decided to avoid my normal gels, and go with a "5-free" non-gel polish instead. 5-free means it doesn't have formaldehyde and other bad stuff. I bought Deborah Lippmann brand. Zoya and RGB are other 5-free brands I found. A quick Google search should turn up plenty of options if you are interested.

Just to be safe, try doing it yourself with a pregnancy safe polish.

I'm 7 weeks and had a pedicure yesterday. I read up on it first, but all accounts it seems to be fine to do, so I went for it.
