So, I have been sleeping for almost 3 years with an older man (14 years difference) and we have amazing sex, both phone and in person. (he travels a lot)

Anyways, I think I am really in love with him; however, whenever we're in bed he says he loves me, but when we are just talking and stuff he seems aloof about it. He has told me to just not care or even love him, but I can't help it. I know he cares about me. He seeks me out when we don't talk for over a day.

I have tried to have a relationship while still being his friend, but we seem to have a connection that I can't find anywhere else.

The advice thing is this: if I am so head over heels about him and he just cares about me, should I keep loving him anyways and wait until he feels the same way or just give up?

I'm just so confused and need some input, and I don't have friends that I can trust with this.
