Ovarian cyst or appendix ?

Here are my symptoms
• sharp pain on right ovary
• nausea
•hurts to walk or stand
•pain in my right thigh and my ribs 
• back pain 
• feel weak
• dizzy
•headache
• hurts during sex
This has been going on for an hour now, im 17

Could be either, take your temperature...if you have a fever go to ER. Regardless you should get in with your doctor asap. Hope everything works out 😊

I went to the ER twice with what I was certain was appendix and it was ovarian cyst. Are you ovulating now? Cysts have a tendency to hurt during ovulation. Also, ovulation pains can mimic appendix pains. It's called (spelling might be wrong) mittelschmerz. With an appendix you'll have low grade fever. Either way, it's best to see a doctor if the pain does not subside.

I've passed 5 kidney stones in my life and this is definitely what it sounds like. If you have any pain killers take one and it should help with the pain instead of wasting a crap ton of money at the hospital. If the pain doesn't go away in about an hour and a half, I'd go to the hospital.

I would see a doctor regardless. A cyst causing those symptoms could be twisted or ruptured.

I would call a doctor sweetie. I've had my appendix removed and emergency surgery is no fun, trust me. Does it hurt when you press on your abdomen? Or when you let go? Regardless, talk to your parents and call your doctors office or advice nurse. They are there for a reason.

When I had an ovarian cyst at 17 I had pain but it was a heavy burning sort of pain, I already suffered with headaches so I can't say if it made them worse. I felt tired too. I would go to your doctors and get them to check you out. (Just to say I was getting the heavy feeling because cyst grew very quickly as it had cancerous cells in the middle and it was 9 pounds 8 ounces when they removed it. I looked pregnant. Most cysts aren't like that) I hope that you feel better soon! x

I just went through this 2 weeks ago and it turns out I had an asymptomatic uti which lead to a severe kidney infection.

I've had my appendix out. The pain was so bad I didn't sleep at all the first night. Then I called out of work the next day and went to my doctor. She told me I had appendicitis. If the pain is much worse that usual, get yourself checked out. If your appendix is infected/inflamed, it MUST be removed. If it ruptures inside you, it will likely kill you from the septic shock. A good way for a doctor to check is to push down on the left side then lift his/her hand very quickly. The right side should be in extreme pain from that action. Then you'll pretty much know for sure. Don't procrastinate on it either. Go right away cause you don't know how long you have before it might rupture.
