I'm sorry if I posted this in the wrong group, but I'm not sure where it should be posted.

My daughter (2) and I (pregnant) are staying with my husband's aunt. We do not have our own place as of right now, we are looking at multiple options. My husband works out of town.

His aunt, god love her, is very welcoming and doesn't mind us here. This isn't the issue.

The issue is, she tries to mother my child. She acts like she is the parent. When we are out in public, and anyone asks any questions about my DD, I never get the chance to answer. She always jumps at every opportunity.

Also, I feel like she may be the reason my DD has been sick lately. We had macaroni one night LAST week. She gave her the leftovers, (which had been in the refrigerator, uncovered) for about 4-5 days) and chocolate milk ( she knows I don't give my daughter real milk, because it upsets her stomach). The same night she gave her all this, she woke at midnight with diarrhea (from the milk) and throwing up macaroni and choc. Milk. I feel like she fed my child ruined mac'n cheese.

When I discipline my child, like get on to her for something she does wrong, she babies her. If I tell her to go lay down, or go sit in a specific spot, she always says "come sit in nene's lap"

What do I do in a situation like this? I don't want to make things tense here because I have nowhere else to go right now.
