Birth Photography?

Question

I'm a photographer who would love to specialize in birth photography. I capture the event of labor and delivery in a tasteful way (No down under shots or nudity). People always respond very differently to my passion for this. Some think it's the most ridiculous and grossest thing and others automatically love it. What about you? It's hard for me to find ladies in my area who are interested in this kind of thing.

I think it's a brilliant thing and I would love to have my birth experienced captured like that however I would never go ahead with it simply because I would be too self conscious and to be in such an exposed state is already difficult without adding another person to the crowded room. I applaud the ladies who do tho! Such lovely moments to be caught on camera.

I'm not a professional at all but I've done this for my cousin for her two kids. I got the most amazing shots and it was so amazing to be there for it.
