Stopping progesterone

Hi all! I've been taking progesterone suppositories twice a day since I found out I was pregnant (previous miscarriage at 6 weeks). I'm currently 14 weeks and my doctor said I could stop taking it but I've read some stuff online where women miscarried at 12-14 weeks after stopping the progesterone so I'm a bit worried. Has anyone had experience with taking the suppositories and then stopping?
