Judgement for not shaving armpits?
I'm very pale but I have dark, thick armpit hair. I also have super sensitive skin, alt pain threshold and my hair/nails grow fast.
Because of this, waxing/epilating is impossible and shaving is a nightmare. Even after a shave with shaving cream and a proper men's razor my dark hair shows through my skin. A day after shaving it's grown through and is too short to shave without screwing up my skin until a week or so later. If I shave too soon I get red raw skin and irritation and razor bumps.
I've been trying to figure this out for 6 years now and I thought I was just useless until I saw a buzzfeed video where women tried not shaving their armpits for a month. Aside from their reactions, what surprised me was that not everyone's armpit hair was like mine which sounds ridiculous that I even thought that but apparently some women only have to shave weekly or less often for their armpits to stay hairless and they look fine without any hassle?!?!?!?!? What!!!!!! I've been thinking I was doing something wrong all these years when I'm just unlucky with my hair :/
I'm now considering just not shaving. It's not worth the hassle or the pain to just get armpits that still look stubbly and for one day a week. I know it's perfectly hygienic because I actually wash so that doesn't worry me.
However I am worried about the judgement I'll get. Experiences? Opinions?
