Very weak when warm.. Why?

Question

So whenever I get too warm when I'm in the shower,especially in the car I get very weak.. I have to get cooled off and relax before I faint! I'm 17 and 2 years ago I had a job as a recreation counsellor in the summer and we we're always outside in the warm weather unless it was raining and I couldn't do too. I got so weak and felt very sick I never went back after! I'm after fainting while getting out of the shower and I don't know why this happens to me. My doctor said it was blood pressure but never did anything..

Sounds like low blood pressure. Your doc probably won't give meds, they are usually for good.

I have this when I get hot. I simply get overheated. I don't sweat as much as other people and I don't seem to be good at regulating my own body temp. I get cold really easily too.

In the same. I've had to stop using hair dryers and hair straighteners on my hair because the heat just made me feel so sick and faint. Standing up for long periods of time makes me feel that way too and in the shower.

I had this when I was pregnant, but my blood pressure wasn't high enough for treatment, maybe this is why he's not done anything about it?!

I had the same issue when I had low blood pressure from not eating enough. I was also taking focus medicine which made me have loss of appetite. You should trying eating more to up your blood sugar.

I was always told it was low blood oxygen, not blood pressure  (though your doc would know better).  Everyone becomes weak after a long hot shower.  Now if you are actually fainting, talk to a different doctor.  If you just feel weak take cooler showers (better for your skin anyway)
