Mother's Day when pregnant?

Just wondering is it normal to celebrate Mother's Day while pregnant? I never really thought about it until now and my husband thinks we shouldn't and my mom thinks we should. I mean we'd just do like a dinner or something private but I was wondering what people's opinions were? To celebrate or to wait until after baby's born?

I'm a FTM, my birthday happens to be on Mothers Day this year, which I think is special!! Obviously I'll be celebrating my birthday but I think of myself as a mom already, and so do my husband and MIL. She got us tickets to a Broadway play for Mothers/Fathers Day. So I think why not celebrate!! They say women become moms when they find out they're pregnant and men become dads when they see their baby. So maybe that explains why your hubby says no to celebrating.

My husband went and got me and iced coffee. He was going to buy me flowers but I told him I'd rather a good coffee. It's also his birthday so he got me coffee and then we celebrated his day!

My husband woke up and turned over and said happy Mother's Day didn't expect him to say it. My mum also brought me a special best mummy cup was special . I think u are a mum as u are Looking after the baby now as u will when it's born

I think once youre pregnant that already makes you a mom, just because the baby is still in the womb doesnt mean you arent a mom till you give birth. Im celebrating today, i think all expecting mommys should 😊😊

My husband doesn't have the romance gene, he ASKED me if he should get me a card. I said, well not anymore!!!!! Way to ruin anything being special!!! I would celebrate it, not only as you will be a mother soon but as a romantic celebration of the beautiful life you and your man have created inside of you!
