It made me insane. I was given the wrong generic version of my pill and I literally went nuts. Synthetic hormones were likely the cause of my aunts breast cancer(she was on it wayyy too long), so I don't take them lightly. It took an extremely long time to get it out of my system, and I couldn't be happier that I threw that pack right in the trash. After about 7 years off and on. Now, I'm with my husband monogamously and we use the caya + contragel green spermicide. Unfortunately it is not available in stores because its a non detergent vaginal safe version. If any of you just can't have hormones for any reason, and you're tracking your cycle, and are looking for an alternative method, look into caya. I have a video on YouTube about it. It recently was FDA approved, but since the USA is backwards in how they distribute, you'll likely have to order it from Germany. It seems not that many people know about it, so I figured I would spread the word about the awesome caya diaphragm since women need to be allowed to control their fertility without taking pills that cause undesirable side effects.
