What no one tells you

Question

How come no one ever tells you how much the first trimester sucks?!? All the worry and stress and being scared on top of being tired and sick and having nothing to show for it all except maybe a blurry sonogram if you're lucky. 
I know it'll all be over in a flash but boy am I miserable now. 
Am I alone in this?

You're definitely not alone ! We thought the "2 week wait" was bad. Ha ! We just have to look at the positives ... The thought that we can actually get pregnant... It's quite amazing actually and something to be thankful for as we go thru this crazy first trimester ! :)

I am 10 weeks and I can't WAIT for this trimester to be over. I am EXHAUSTED all the time! Plus the constant worry is driving me mad, I am ready for this baby to grow and grow and find out a gender!

Omg it sucked. So hard. And I COMPLAINED. You bet I did. In the movies the pregnant women throw up like once and then they're over it! What do you mean, 3 months of the worst hangover of my life?

Ok. Just so you don't write one about the third  trimester lol. It sucks worst then your first. You will be even more tired. You won't be able to able to find a comfortable way the sleep. Then as soon as you are able to fall asleep you eyes will pop open and you will have to go pee. You will have pains and aches in places you didn't know could ache. Your favorite line will become "i just want him/her out". Do with all that said. Try to enjoy you first trimester. It only lasts a little while.

But seriously. It blows. I'm 10wks and a day and always puking, my lower stomach seems to be getting sore, always peeing, never hungry but always hungry. It's not pretty.

You are not alone.  My first trimester was hell.  I knew I would throw up I had no idea it would be all day every day coupled with exhaustion and flu-like symptoms.  People only made me feel guiltier about hating being pregnant by telling me to enjoy it and that their pregnancy was the best time of their life.  The second trimester is by far better.  I can now feel my baby moving, I feel great, morning sickness is gone and my energy is back and then some.  The fog of the first trimester lifts and then it is almost magical to feel somewhat normal again.

My first trimester was horrible for my first pregnancy. This one hasn't been too bad actually, apart from the extreme fatigue and nausea. My husband has been so supportive, and taken care of everything at home, whilst I've been 'ill' 😜. 
I must say, I am looking forward to the second trimester, to have more energy and get that pregnancy glow again!

I am constantly tired it's hard to get the energy to do anything!  Will be all worth it at the end when I have my beautiful baby ❤️👶🏼
