Tampons?

Question

What brand and absorbency of tampons do you use? It seems like my heavy flow days, I need to change my super + playtex sport every 2 1/2 hours or I'll spring a leak. It really sucks! Just wondering if anyone has non-leaking tampons?

I haven't found any that don't leak, but I have recently found Tampax Pearl Ultra which is a step above Super Plus! They buy me a little more time, but they can be uncomfortable if your flow slows down! They're in a purple box! Good luck!  :)

I second the menstrual cup! I have a diva cup and it was a life saver. I used to have to change a super plus tampon every 1-2 hours the first 2 days of my period. Now with the cup, it's every 4-6 hours! My period is shorter and now I don't deal with leaking!

I switched to a menstrual cup. So much more environmentally friendly and holds more than a tampon. I used to go through 8 tampax Supers a day, now I empty my cup three times. I find it's also shortened my period length a whole day.

I use lunette cup. And love it. I was using two super plus tampons at same time and couldn't keep up. 
I work in service industry and don't have access to bathrooms. ( I pee in my truck)
( believe me MUCH cleaner then most public bathrooms!) any way lunette cup saved me!
I can empty it when I need to. 
So much better then anything else. 
I wish I found it sooner.

I also use a menstrual cup, have been for about 14 years. One of the best choices I made! Sure it is environmentally and budget friendly but what I really love is not having the severe dryness I would get with tampons. It takes some practice using and can be a bit messy at first, but once I got the hang of it there were no messes or leaks. And traveling or backpacking with it is a breeze.
