Is it normal to have a heart beat that is beating so fast?  It feels like I am have a anxiety attack.  But I'm pregnant.  This is my first baby.  Should I freak out?  Is this normal?

I also am experiencing a higher heart rate especially when I lay down I feel it in my throat yuck! Drives me nuts. Also I have heart palpitations. This all started when I got pregnant and I found out that I now have a hyperthyroid due to the baby so maybe get your levels checked for that too

I had to go to the doctor. They gave me an ekg.  Said my heart rate was high and said it was a sign of dehydration. Two bags of fluid and it settled down. I don't know why dehydration causes it

Anxiety attacks can also be a symptom as hormones shift, I had one the other night, which sucked!

With my second I had to go on medication to keep my heart rate down. It would reach 190bpm just walking a few feet. So far so good with this one. Only a few palpitations when I drink a soda. So I've stopped that. It's gotten better.

I've been having heart palpitations since becoming pregnant. Doctor said my heart rate is very rapid so I'll be having some testing done in the coming weeks. It's worrisome!
