Anyone loose weight with no soda?

Question

I have recently stopped drinking my daily sonic soda (okay I have one a week) and hoping it kick starts some weight loss.  Have any of you ladies lost weight by quoting soda?  How much? How long did it take. 
I weigh 140 right now.

Over a couple of months I ended up losing about 10lbs. I was 140, started watching calorie intake and cut out fast food and soda and I dropped to 130.

Yes. I dropped soda and dropped like 15 pounds I  a week. That was also with a daily workout plan.

It's usually not much. About 10 pounds per year average. But it sure helps your body feel better in so many other ways. So many benefits other then the weight loss. Add water to this goal & good luck♡

I was drinking a lieter of diet pepsi i quit cold turkey on june 2nd and i replaced it with water . i also changed my diet arounf eating alot of salsds and cut back on breads .and sugar .i have nit got on a scale but my clothes are so baggy and the ponfs are melting away i need to check snd i feel so much energized and better .love the benifits of not drinking soda

I cut out soda when I came to live in Douala mostly because there's too much per bottle.
Lost 65 pounds in 3 years.

When I cut out soda at the beginning of my pregnancy I lost 20 some odd pounds in about 2 months. But that was because of nausea.
My friend stopped soda cold turkey (even a sip could send her spiraling out of control) and lost about 30 pounds the first year.
But we're both overweight by quite a bit.

I stopped drinking soda and drinking more water and sometimes just drinking sweet tea if I need the caffeine. And it's made me less bloated and life so much better. I don't know how much I've lost but it's helped ALOT and it makes me really happy!

I was drinking a huge 44oz soda every day for months when i first moved to OK & when i quit i probably dropped about 2 or 3 pant sizes in 2 weeks. I had tons more energy & felt way better. Mind you i am like 40lbs overweight at least & i was drinking soda every day for months. But my sister cut out bread AND soda at the same time (kudos to her i couldnt do it.) & lost like 20lbs in the matter of afew  weeks. (She was also about 40lbs overweight tho) so maybe it just depends on your BMI.
