So I'm on Cryselle, which is a monophasic pill. I've skipped my break week for 2 months straight. (My gyn said that was ok, and I hate periods) I've never had a heavy flow. If when on the pill your uterine lining sheds to make it thin, why is it that my  break week bleed is so heavy? It turned from dark brown to bright, bright red. Is isn't the pill supposed to lighten your flow?
