Genetic/Gender Testing

Has anyone had the genetic blood testing done and gotten the results back for the Chromosomal abnormalities before getting results back for gender? I had my blood drawn last monday (a week and a half ago) and just got the call from the doctor about the chromosomal results, but they didn't have gender results. Is it possible I would get those separately, or did they just fail to run the gender test? Thanks!
