Subchorionic hemorrhage anyone?!

Question

So after my trip to the ER from fainting this morning, my ultrasound showed a small subchorionic hemorrhage. Fetal rate good at 152bpm and hcg went from 840 to 9,000 in 9 days but has anyone dealt with this before? Were you deemed high risk?! Thanks!

I read in my doctor's report that I had a possible SCH....why would they put that??? Like they can't diagnose it either way....strange! and worrisome...

I have a small 1 cm sch and have had spotting twice. I was put on pelvic rest...no sex, no lifting, no straining but I have REALLY been taking it easy. I've had two ultrasounds and it has gotten smaller. I have an appointment tomorrow and will hopefully schedule another ultrasound to see the progress. It is weird because everything I've read said it only effects 1% of women. Yet it seems to be fairly common. My doctor reassured me and said he has not had an patients who had this have their pregnancy interfered by it. So that was comforting to hear. Most of the time you will bleed it out or it will get reabsorbed by your body. Good luck!

Yes, i was put on bed rest untill my US showed it was clear...

Found out yesterday I had a 1.3cm one on bed rest till first o.b apt tue..had spotting then red blood now all day today (sry tmi) but brown old blood when I wiped found baby's heartbeat today on doppler!!!

I have one and no it's not high risk at all. Baby is perfectly fine and they resolve on their own.

Had 2 one at 8 weeks one at 18 weeks both healthy pregnancies

I had a large one with my 3rd baby at 11 weeks. I had extra ultrasounds to monitor but my midwife still cared for me much of the time. For me, it did cause a partial abruption and preterm labor... But I didn't bleed again until then. That's when an OB took over for me.  Thankfully baby was developing perfectly the whole time and he was just early but did great.

My cousin who had been expecting just a week ahead of me also had an SCH around the same time but it didn't cause any complications at all for her :)
