Is Nausea Common on Birth Control?

Question

I was on the birth control patch and it made me nauseous and vomit.  I was curious if this was linked to the common side effects or pregnancy.  I asked because a woman mentioned she found out she was pregnant while on the patch because she experienced nausea.   Please comment and vote, I'm trying to calm myself down 😞

I have the patch. I've had it for a year & this has just started happening to me. & I'm thinking about changing birth control because of it but I'm not pregnant it's just a new side effect

Yes, for the first week or so taking mine I got extremely nauseous and actually got sick a couple times. So I started taking it before I go to bed instead of when I'll be awake and it worked great!

With depo no nausea. With nuvaring I had overpowering nausea. With the pill slight nausea

I was on nuva ring but usually about two days after putting in a new ring I would have a "sick" day or two.

One type i was on made me nauseas no matter what time of day i took it. Another one only had that effect at certain times of the day. And the perfect pill for me, i didn't have any negative side effects to deal with. Every pill/method affects every person differently.
