When to announce?!

I am 5 weeks and 3 days pregnant and i'm just curious to see what you guys think about how soon is too soon to announce your pregnancy? Im super excited and was thinking of announcing it on mothers day, but I will only be 6 weeks :-/

I told my closest friends so far. They knew I was going through infertility treatments so they were asking every month anyways 😊 plus, if we go through another miscarriage, I want the support of my closest friends. We will probably announce it to our families after we have seen the heartbeat, and the rest of the world will know after we hit the second trimester.  Everyone is comfortable announcing at different times. Do what feels comfortable to you.

We're waiting 'till 10-12wks, like we did our 1st together, my SO is a nervous nelly, and I guess I am too. One MC is enough to make you wait.

It's up to you! With my first three pregnancies, we told immediate family right away, and everyone else around 10 weeks. We're waiting a bit longer this time since I had a mc in November.

With my first, I announced at like 4 weeks. We unfortunately lost him him at 13.5 weeks. With my daughter, we waited until 9 weeks because I was having surgery and wanted a lot of prayers(she's almost 2). We plan to wait until 12 weeks with this one. Everyone is different though! You announce when you feel it's time! :)

I made my mom a christmas ornament with my ultrasound picture. And when I saw her on christmas I was 8 weeks she loved it.
Yes most people wait until the second trimester, my sister did with both her babies. But I was too excited! It was so perfect!
