I'm getting married June 6 but I'm still in love with my first love. It's too late to bounce, advice..

Do you love the man you're with now?

If you love someone else, tell your fiancée. Don't get married JUST because it's too late to "bounce" out. Then your marriage will just be a lie. 
People back out of getting married all the time.

You need to call of your wedding if you have mixed feelings. ASAP.

It's possible that you're not ACTUALLY in love with your first love, but rather more the IDEA of him, and think you will find something that you feel you are missing, with him, when that's rarely ever the case.

Exes are exes for a reason, and should always stay in the past.

Focus on the guy you are with, decide whether you truly love him or not, because if you're entering into a marriage with a man you're not entirely sure you love, it's only bound to bring heartache and hurt to all those involved. :/

First off, mine and my husbands anniversary. :)

Second, have you been talking to your first love? Or have you guys never stopped talking?

For a good minute, I thought I was still in love with my first.
We were talking, just catching up. I realized I missed him, and that I broke his heart. But that's besides the point. It all felt familiar and comfortable. It's like I was a sophomore back in high school. I was with that guy practically my whole 4 years of high school. And continued to dated a year after. He was my best friend. And at the time I was questioning everything in my life, which made me miss him more because I wasn't myself. And talking to him, I was my old self again. Than I realized it wasn't him that i still have feelings , I was looking for something. I was looking for myself.

I've been married since June 6, 2013. To a guy I said hello to in the 3rd grade. I've also known him my whole life. Since we were 8 years old. My husband, is the best thing that has ever happened to me. And I'm a big believer in everything happens for a reason. Regaurdless of how you feel about your first, you broke up for a reason. Even if you think it was a stupid reason, like me I broke up with my first because I moved to another state. There was no telling when id see him again. And I felt I was holding him back. So I called it off. Yes I regret it to this day. But I broke up with him because we both needed to grow up. Even if you've never moved on, yall broke up. No matter if it was 6 months ago, or 5 years ago like me. Nothing good comes from it.

If anything just extend the wedding date. Sorry for the essay. But as you can tell I can relate.

The same think happened to us last year before we got married except it was with my husband. He had been thinking about his first love and still having feelings for her. We ended up pushing the wedding back 2 months. He actually said he wanted to move I before he told me about everything. First we just cancelled it and said we would pick a date soon. Needless to say I was extremely upset and cried all the time. Of corse we didn't tell anyone why, except he talked to his mother about it. I told him that if he needed to see if she was still into him then he should talk to her and meet up to see how things are. I'm glad he didn't but if that was something he needed to do I wouldn't stop him. He ended up talking to someone at our church about it and prayed alot. One day he just got over her and we set a date again. If you can, get the courage to talk to him and get everything out. It might not even mean anything but you definitely want to figure it out before you get married.
