When did you officially name your baby?

I was talking to my new friend today who's a midwife and she says its not uncommon for people two wait long periods before settling on a name. Sometimes over a year! Crazy!

For my first I had his names picked out since I was pregnant. His name is Jaden Jacob :)
With my second we never decided on a name so we first named him Tristen Dalton but we got negative feedback from all my fam when I told them his name so right before we left the hospital, after we almost popped our brains from thinking too hard we sorta named him after his big brother. We went with Tayden Logan :)

We started picking names a month or two after I got pregnant. We always had a name or two ready before birth, and had been trying it out beforehand.

Where I live you have 10 days to name your child and submit the paperwork to register the birth so your child can get a care card, SIN card, birth certificate. But when we found out what our son we started looking at names and then we picked it out and he was called Hayden 2 months before he was born.

Picked my (at the time much in the future) daughters name when I was just 14. I told my husband straight up that we were naming our first girl Jade Lyn lol  and we came up
With the name Kyle Christopher when I got pregnant and weren't sure of the gender. Long before we were TTC I thought of the pretty name "Rachel Renee" which means "lamb reborn" 
How cool is that?! Lol 
So yeah, I pretty much have all my kids names picked out lol

I actually pick my baby girls name before I even had sex..Well my oldest at least at I actually her first name I got from a song and middle a drink I know not to good but sound beautiful together
