My conservative, Christian, Cuban Mom who's an RN thinks birth control isn't safe bc of the "blood clot dangers" & how it's just "horrible" in her eyes, aka reasons I had tuned out because I was so annoyed. She also thinks it's bad because of the sexual connotations behind it, which is so stupid because (not now anyways which she won't need to know) I'm not using it for contraceptive respond at all. However, I genuinely NEED it for my period because of my flow and downright horrible cramps that prevent normal day to day activities. How do I convince her? I hate this so much 😔
