My daughter is 3 almost 4 and can't string a sentence together. She has been seeing a speech therapy who thinks she has SLI ( specific language impairment) but isn't sure but when I was 8 months pregnant I was the victim of domestic abuse and was quite bad I had to stay in hospital. Does anyone know if this could play a part in my daughters speech delay because I feel like if this had damaged a part of her brain would she ever be able to speak properly. It's hard to talk to the therapists she sees because they all tell me different things.
