Will you find out the gender?

I am debating whether I want to know the gender of my baby or not. I am curious to know why you will or will not find out!

I'm so inpatient I could never wait to find out the gender of my baby when he or she arrives!!! And besides I want to be prepared!! Have all the right stuff and clothes and color!! 💘💘💘💝💝💝💞💞💕

I genuinely don't care what it is, but I NEED to know! Haha I'm very "Type A" and a huge planner, so not being able to buy things (or trying to buy everything neutral) and not being able to go all out on the nursery would just kill me.  This is also our first (and the 1st grand baby on both sides) so it's not like we have baby stuff in storage that we could bust out after he/she is born!

I kinda want to wait but my husband can not wait that long ha ha so we will find out.

I would prefer to find out at birth, however, my husband and I took about 5 months of back-and-forth to figure out a name and spelling for our son. (And this is the name my husband had chosen at age nine for his first son). So, despite wanting to wait to find out, it's just something that my husband can't let go of. Because now we have absolutely zero names on the "possible boy names" list.

There are not many true good surprises in the world anymore. What is people big deal with needing to know right away? People have been having babies for THOUSANDS of years and didn't know what they were having.

People who need to know the sex just so they can have every outfit in either pink or blue, or they can have the perfect gender specific baby shower or color coordinating room, is just crazy to me!!

I, myself, didn't want to find out and it couldn't have been better. My husband wanted to know but in the long run, after giving birth to a beautiful baby girl, thanked me for making him wait. The look on his face when she came out and he screamed its a girl was the most perfect moment in the world and wouldn't trade it for anything.

Now that I'm pregnant with baby #2, I still stand by not knowing the sex!

Our plan is to be Team Green. But, I'm also very Type A, so the inability to plan is going to be hard. But for now we're totally planning on being surprised!

I wanted to wait until the birth to experience the emotional aspect of not knowing (this is my second). But this is SO's first and he's faaaaar too excited to wait and wants to buy either pink or blue. So we'll be finding out at 18weeks during my anatomy scan!

I am going to try really really hard not too. That time is quickly approaching when I can find out, and I am hoping I can make it through lol.

We have 3 boys. If we are having a girl this time, we are in no way shape or form prepared. On the other hand,  if we're having a boy, I won't be surprised and "here we go again!" Lol
