Religious Discrimination in Adoption Agencies?

Cake • It's called the American dream because you have to be asleep to believe it.
So I never want to get pregnant and HAVE a kid, but Ive always wanted to adopt. However, I'm a Witch - I wear a pentacle necklace, by the time I'd be financially stable to adopt I'll have an alter room and have pagan decorations. I know religious descrimination is against the law, but I can't help but feel that my religion would make adopting much more difficult, if not nearly impossible.
Has anyone else gone through the process successfully?
