Birth control?

I used to have some of the worst periods ever! I couldn't get up. My cramps would have me heaving and id have to change my pad every half hour. I couldn't go anywhere for a week every month! It caused so many problems so my mom was going to call to put me on birth control to help regulate them. The last two times I had my period I took these pills called estrosense and I learned how to use tampons. My period was a breeze! I had no cramps and the bleeding was very little. I've only tried it twice so I'm not sure if it really works or if it was all a coincidence. Either way, should I still go on birth control for any reason? I am virgin and am saving myself till marriage, so I don't know if I should just cancel my appointment? And also, has anyone ever tried estrosense and has it worked for you?
