Early MC--what to expect?

Happy Mothers Day everyone! We had a very slight positive on Friday, followed by 2 bfp's one with digital yesterday!  This morning I had some light bleeding which has progressed to very heavy with terrible cramping pain all morning.  I am fairly certain we lost the pregnancy.  I would have only been barely 5 weeks so very early still.  Just wondering if anyone else has MC'ed at this stage and what to expect? I'm going to call my Dr. In the morning! Thanks for any insight!

I miscarried at 5w3d and four days later, I started having contractions. Very very painful and nothing helped. Lasted for a few days and passed very large clots for those few days.

I just lost our pregnancy on Friday, at 5 weeks. I had periods of severe cramps while passing clots, with very heavy bleeding.  Today, I just have spotting. And have been told that will taper off as well within the week. I was informed by the dr that the cervix can remain open for up to 6 weeks afterwards and so to use pads and not tampons this decreasing chance for infection.

I was 5w3d. Constant moderate cramping with lots of clots and heavier bleeding. Nothing too terrible physical wise. Sorry for your loss. 💗

I did at 5 weeks. And I had very slight to no cramps and bleeding with clots
