Mucus plug and bleeding?

Yesterday I lost a bit of my plug and I had the worst urge to clean my house all day long. Today I've lost a bit more mucus and now I'm spotting. I know that you can lose your mucus plug weeks before labor but I can't find much about the bleeding online..anyone have any info? Thanks!

A little bleeding with the plug is good!  It means you're close. I lost a big chunk of my plug 2.5 weeks prior to delivery and then little bits every once in a while after that. I didn't get blood until the morning I went into labor.

A little blood along with the mucous plug is normal and is from leaking of the blood vessels of the cervix. But definitely ask your doc to be sure.

The nesting instinct and the loss of mucous plug probably mean labor should happen within the next few days!! An early congrats!!

EVERY bleeding has to be watched from a doc! Go and see your doc ASAP! Seems like you can get in labor every hour from now on!

My doctor said to call them if there was any bleeding, so I would do that. How far along are you?
