Is this that bad for a boy?!

My SO and I love the name Mabyn, for a boy. It's usually used as a girl name but I really don't think it sounds that girly and I found it on a unisex site. Everytime I tell people they never say anything about thinking its a girl name?

Just change the spelling. The "y" spelling makes it look feminine.

If you love it it shouldn't matter what anyone says :) I've never heard it before! It's better to have a unique name then a name all the kids have. Also once you actually name you child something people are less likely to have rude remarks. It's usually when you are asking opinions thay everyone mean side comes out.. Lol

I've never heard or seen it til now. But it does seem like more of a girls name to me. When I read it my mind goes to either Mabel-a great great grandmother or just May-my moms middle name so that's why.  It's your choice, I stopped asking people what they thought since they weren't nice about it. Then I just flat out said "his name is.." then they never gave their opinions again.
