Hi everyone! I am 5wks and 2 days today.

On Saturday I had a tiny bit of blood/discharge on the toilet paper, anyway I didn't worry and assumed it was implantation bleeding however my partner went into panic and we ended up at the hospital they did an internal exam and said my cervix was closed and no more blood so that's a good sign. They have booked me in for an early scan on Tuesday just to make sure all is ok, does anyone know what to expect for this internal early scan? It's my first pregnancy so I am a little nervous. Do I have to do anything before hand like drink lots of water?
