Do I need surgery????or meds???

Question

My Fertility doctor said I need surgery to remove 1 small polyp I have in my uterus that's preventing implantation. I'm really scared, I don't know what to expect. Md said it's not a big deal. Anyone experience this? Need advise.

I had polyps from my uterus on 4/2.  The surgery was quick and I was out the same day.  While waking up from anesthesia the nurse asking me if I had pain...I said yes and she gave me pain medication in my IV.....sh gave me a little more a few hours later and I went home afterwards.....I didn't have pain during recovery but just cramping...like small period cramps.... by the end of the month I did my first IUI with clomid on 4/30.  It goes to show you how fast your body recovers.

I took out mine just 2 mos ago, Dr also cleaned out my uterus. Kept on bawling a day before the procedure since it was gona be my first time with IV! I'm terrified of needles lol

Anyway the worst part was actually the waiting but afterwards you wont remember a thing. Major cramping afterwards as a side effect of the anaesthesia. 3hrs after surgery, you're good to go 😄 just rest when you get home

I had a hysteroscopy & laproscopy done on 4/6. I had multiple polyps on my uterus. I elected for my RE to do the lap to check for endo. If you just have the hystero, it'll should be easy because they won't make any incisions.

U r in the same boat as I was a year back.. Polyp at the exact same place. Got it removed after much crying to myself about how life was so unfair :(.. But in hindsight I'm so happy I did it as 15weeks now with my bun 😊😊😊 
Do not worry it's a harmless procedure, sure it's a huge decision to make but it will benefit u greatly.. Lots of luck :)

Thank you everyone for your wonderful advice. Just got my polyp removed yesterday along with cleaning all tissue from my uterus. My md said it is like brand new. Lol
