Bleeding after sex!?!

Last night I had sex, and it was uncomfortable. I woke up around 3am with light pink blood and then red blood. I couldn't sleep because I was freaking out. I went to the bathroom again about an hour later and it was light brownish. I went again this morning and there was a small blood clot. Is this normal after sex? I don't have my first drs apt for another two weeks! :-(

Update!

I called my doctors and they had me come in for an ultrasound. Baby looked good and I saw the heart beat. I do have a bladder infection though..

With my first baby, I spotted after sex between 6-8 weeks. Doctor told us to not have sex until 12 weeks. Sometimes your cervix is just sensitive. But call your doctor if you remain concerned!

I had my drs appointment today and talked to her about having sex! She said it is totally fine to have but it could cause bleeding because uterus is still sensitive! She said if it is uncomfortable stop and be on top because we can control the movement! She said if I was nervous to have to have sex,  to wait till 12 weeks!

Happened to me too! And I was freaked. Fortunately for me, hubby won't come near me anymore in that capacity so I have some breathing room lol

Blood work was fine but ultrasound wasn't what it should have been. Diagnosed me with threatened miscarriage. Hopefully the er was wrong.. Good luck to you

I had light pink in my lingerie after sex too, no red, but I freaked out. I see my doctor tomorrow and will update you.
