Personally I dislike Juniors and 3,4,5 etc. I feel every baby deserves their own name and identity

My grandmother had 6 boys & gave the 6th boy my grandfathers name. My husband had 2 sons & neither of them was a jr so I was willing to make our son Cameron Jr since I like his name but we had a girl so she's Camryn lol

My husband already has a son but making our baby a junior is one of our two name options if it's a boy.

if I have a boy I'm opting out of making him a legit junior. If I have a boy I would want my son to have his own identity. now if his first and middle initials wind up being J.R that's a different story 😂

I personally would NEVER use Junior. My dad's first son is a junior and he ended up being trash. The only one out of the bunch but he has kids with everyone as then NEVER pays child support. That being said, my dad has been cuffed on two different occasions and each time my dad asks them to read the social and of course, it's my brother they want. He never adds junior to any of his accounts either so we have tons of issues with bill collectors calling. Thank God social security numbers separate them :P It's a pain either way.

My dad's 5th kid is the junior in the family. Traditionally, juniors are the 1st but these days, pretty much anything goes :)

I chose no because I personally know someone who's younger brother was the Jr. He always felt he was never good enough for his father, and he always felt like his younger brother was the favorite. Although it wasn't a half brother situation. I'm not saying this would happen but I wouldn't personally do it especially since he's no longer with the older brothers mother. I could see him feeling like your child is favored.
