Suggestions?

I'm about to start a round of clomid today. This is my first time taking it. I've heard about horrible side effects! Any suggestions? Any one want to share your experience with it please?

I took it for one cycle before I got my BFP. I didn't get any side effect from it while I was taking it but I was also taking metformin along with that and got sick to my stomach a lot right around when I started to ovulate. I had a great experience with it :) Good luck to you!

Take it at night! I felt a little moody and it dries up your cervical mucus so take mucinex (guifenesin) around ovulation to help. I got pregnant my first round on clomid but unfortunately lost the baby at 9 weeks. Hoping my period comes soon so we can try again! Good luck!

I took my clomid at night as well. I had slight hot flashes but nothing major. I heard taking it at night lessens the side effects since your sleeping while it absorbs into your system. Good luck!

I would recommend talking it at night so you hopefully sleep through any side effects :-)

I finished my first round just over a week ago.. Wouldn't say the side effects are horrible just uncomfortable so don't panic. I had hot flashes cramping and tiredness but it's not too bad and is all worth it if it works. Fx for you xx

I was terrified by the things I'd read regarding the side effects. My dr told me I should tell me husband to stay far away for a couple weeks lol Fortunately, I wasn't a raging lunatic! I had a slight headache, but mostly just wanted to eat everything in sight. I would suggest taking it before bed though, so as to sleep off most of the symptoms you may experience. I have been on 50 mg for three cycles and didn't have too bad of side effects. Maybe a little more irritable but not a lot.
