This is a roller coaster!

Brittany
Today has been such a roller coaster. This is my second pregnancy and my first one ended in a miscarriage a year ago. I am already so anxious for this first trimester to end. Then today while I was home on my lunch break, I noticed some heavy spotting.
I was in an absolute panic and had my husband drive me to the doctors office right away. I was shaking and crying and so terrified that I was losing my baby. Thank God for my amazing husband who stayed calm and reassuring through the whole thing.
My doctor rushed out of a meeting so he could see me instead of the one who was on duty. It turned out to be delayed implantation bleeding. It's perfectly normal and everything is alright. He then offered to do an ultrasound to help reassure me even more.
We did the ultrasound and heard a heartbeat and it was the most beautiful thing. As if that wasn't enough when I looked over at my husband he had the biggest smile I have ever seen.
What started terrifying ended up absolutely wonderful, but I am so so exhausted.
