Sex on my period

My boyfriend and I were having sex on my 4th day of my period. He cam inside me and wanted me to take Plan B. In not really for that at all and I am not on birth control. I have heard that it is a higher chance of pregnancy and also that it isn't if you have sex on our period. Just need some other opinions. Please help!!!
