Coming off the pill?

I have takin the pill since I was 16, I'm now 26, how long did it take any of you to become pregnant after stopping contraception? X

I as on BC from 17-29.....came off it in july but we didn't start trying until november and then got BFP in march....they say to try and wait to start trying after you have had 2 periods off BC but that is just for dating purposes, so if you get pregnant you'll know when you actual LMP was. The one thing I wished someone had told me when coming off BC was how the first real period (not the one you get when you normally have your placebos or you week off for ptches and rings but the next one) can takw a whule and you can have some "weird" symptoms while waiting. On BC my periods were 28 days. I could rememeber what my periods were like before BC but i knew they were around 28 days. My first period off BC was 33 days. Also I had super sensitive nipples for a two week period of time. So sensitive my loose t-shirt felt like it was rubbing them raw. I was kinda panicking that these could be bad since i had never heard of it happening to amy onw else and googled it and it is completely normal.  Everyone is different and some people can get pregnant right away, some take a few months and some take years. Good luck hope you are a quick one :)

I was on birth control for 4 years. Stopped taking is August 2014, found out I was pregnant Feb 2015. So it took us about 7 months. But 3 of those months at the end I was tracking my ovulation.

I waited three months and then got pregnant the first month of trying.
