I will have my first ultrasound on Friday and I believe I will be 10w2d. I am happy because I didn't think I would get one until 20 weeks, but because my cycles are so irregular my midwife ordered one to confirm my date. I was excited until I read the hospital policy.

Only one person in the room for the ultrasound, this will be my mother's first grandchild and is disappointed she won't get to go. I can understand that policy though, as long as I had a picture to show her after. But the policy also states that they do not provide pictures and I am not allowed to take one on my camera or phone.

I am excited to have the ultrasound but bummed about leaving empty handed.

Any one else have this experience?
