Am I in Labour?

Question

Hey Ladies,
I'm 39+4, and as of 3 days ago was 100% effaced, 2 cm dilated, and baby was at +1. Mucus if came out 4 days ago. 24 hours ago, what I think are contractions began (feel like waves of strong period cramps) but remained at 30sec/15min all day long. Today they are 45sec/12min...a little stronger, much much stronger when I'm walking. I thought it was labour yesterday, but today I'm not sure because of how long it's latest without switching into high gear.

What do you think?

This was me for three days with my son. I had contractions for three days straight! Unless your contractions are 5 to 7 minutes apart and getting stronger for an hour straight OR you wipe and see blood, they won't call it labor. It's just early labor. Keep your head up! It's coming!

With my first I was in labor for 2 days it started out soooo slow like you described eventually the pain was bad enough I went in and I was at 3cm, they had me walk around an hour and I made into 4cm so they admitted me at around 10pm. I had him just after 10am the next day

I've been getting the same pain but my doctor told me it's not real labor yet just very early labor been like this for a week or two now cannot wait for them to get closer together and have my baby already!! She says they should be closer together
