Twerking for a 6 year old?

I have a beautiful 6 year old daughter. However her step-mother thought that it was ok to try to teach my 6 year old daughter to twerk. But when my daughter said she didn't want to do it, she got teased by her step-mother and then she tried to peer pressure my daughter into doing it. My daughter said to her step-mother that kind of dancing is inappropriate then walked away from the peer pressure. It made me happy that my daughter stood her ground and walked away. When I was told about this story I told her father and he defended his wife saying it was nothing wrong. I'm only 30 years old so I'm not old fashion but for a step-mother (25 year old and has a daughter of her own) to peer pressure my child into dancing like that is wrong. Am I the only parent who thinks that kind of dancing should be left for the adults not children?
