Why do you want kids?

Let me start by saying there is NOTHING NEGATIVE meant with this post!
I personally does not want kids(my so does) and I've never felt like it. I have been wondering why you lovely mothers (or mothers to be) out there decided to have a child? What feelings and thoughts went/are going through you, that are making having a baby seem wonderful? (:
