38+6 menstrual like cramping??

So I'm due almost a week from today and just started getting menstrual like cramping yesterday.  It's real low on one side and then subsides after I lay down for a bit but then I get it on the other side a little while later.  Anyone else experiencing this??

I felt like that on and off for weeks before my dd...but it came on strong and didn't go away when I was actually in early stages of labor.
