I'm curious because I love makeup but I've never figured out how to do it properly! I'm mixed race and I don't look like any YouTube guru's and find it difficult to identify my facial features to use tutorials. My eyes don't match any of the charts and my face shape doesn't conform either hahaha. I usually look a mess if I try to do full makeup but I don't know how to learn because I've been doing trial and error for about 4 years now and no closer to figuring it out 😜 how did you figure it out?

Day to day I go for concealer, mascara and tinted lip balm. If my spots aren't too bad then I skip to concealer and go for thinned CC cream with moisturiser. If I'm going on a night out I basically pile on the mascara and go for a lip stain or stick and try and fail with bronzer, blusher and eyeshadow every damn time until I give up and wipe it all off.

I don't know if I'm just failing at this and I'm alone or if other people get it? I've never had my makeup done professionally but I don't think I'd want to pay someone to show me how to do it in case they overdid it and I got nothing out of it.
